Your story may start with the big picture or specifically with you.
Different people consider their relationship with the world in different ways. Some people need to understand their context within a larger picture. Some people start their narrative with a focus on themselves. For those who start with the self, this progression of slides might be better understood starting with Page 13 and working towards this page.
Critical to understanding your narrative is to ask, “where are you?” And the subsequent question is “where do you wish to go?” The success of that goal, outside of random chance, is a function of how well one knows the path and the duration permitted to get to the goal.
Where one is on earth dictates their conception of narrative priorities. Culture is a function of geography - the topography, the precipitation, the ground and subsurface resources, the population density and ease of communication. Culture is also driven by the efficiency of the allocation of physical and mental resources available.
